November 26, 2021, MIAMI, FL – Premier Radiology Services, a U.S.-based teleradiology services provider, today announced a long-term contract extension with RamSoft, providing Premier Radiology Services with software that helped change their workflow to improve efficiency and patient care.

The technology investments the teleradiology company made were one of the strategies that propelled Premier Radiology Services’ rapid growth. “Our ongoing investment into our technology partners has allowed us to provide a stable and scalable platform to take on new business at a ‘right’ cost model that supports the competitive teleradiology market,” said Furlough.
The company said it was key to have a very scalable product like RamSoft during its significant growth period. “We are able to set up new user accounts, build new clients, and integrate DICOM and HL7 connections on our own with RamSoft’s PowerServer™ platform. Scalability is always an important requirement for a business like our own, as we are processing thousands of studies per day. The software has scaled with us just by adding appropriate server resources to handle the system load,” said Furlough.
As RamSoft has been developing medical imaging software for more than 27 years, Premier Radiology Services is confident that they are working with a long-term partner that has deep expertise in the teleradiology space. “This relationship provides stability and the technology in a way that lets us exchange studies with other RamSoft clients in an accelerated fashion without having to engage IT resources,” said Furlough.

The company can also develop highly customized workflows to meet the needs of their clients through DICOM scripting and HL7 integration. The company is keen on improving their solution as their business grows.
