Schedules VCR style routing.
The Gateway Router’s routing mechanism is so flexible that it allows you to virtually do anything you can imagine.  You can route studies by Status, Modality, Faculty, Physicians, Times, Dates, and many other DICOM tags.

Scriptable routing rules.
PowerServer’s routing are more robust than ever thanks to the new scriptable routing engine. This makes the creation of complex rules to route and manipulation of DICOM data accessible even the most novice user.

Auto image compression.
Breathe new life into your modalities that do not support image compression.  By routing your images through the Gateway, you will be able compress your data using the latest in JPEG image compression.

Automatic prior exam routing.
If you ever need to route priors along with new incoming exams, Gateway Router is your answer. As long as your exams are stored on a DICOM compliant device, the Gateway Router can automatically fetch the studies and send them out to any destination.  This gives any PACS prior pre-fetching capabilities.

Send and receive from an unlimited number of devices simultaneously.
Gateway Router can handle any number of connected devices.  By using true multi-threading technology, the load a router can handle is only limited by the hardware and bandwidth it is running on.

Automatic Window/Level and filtering.
W/L using the histograph method can be applied onto images as they are sent through the router.  Filters, such as the Median filter, can be used to remove grid lines and noise.

Automatic DICOM field mapping.
The Gateway Router eliminates those unreliable DICOM mapping scripts and unmanaged third-party solutions.
