Clinical Workstation

PowerReader™ is our web-based interpretation and clinical review workstation included with every PowerServer PACS product. It includes all of the tools that are expected in a diagnostic viewing package plus a number of specialized features that enhance reading from certain modalities.

Workstation Features

Totally web-based
As with all our software, the clinic workstation is fully web-based and accessible from anywhere in the world. Because it utilizes RamSoft’s proprietary bandwidth load distribution and study push technology, reading can be done without delay.

Unlimited Freedom
The licensing model behind PowerServer enables you to install the clinical workstation on any number of machines and allows for an unlimited number of users. This frees your operation from the distraction of buying user licenses as you grow; allowing you more time to concentrate on your patients.

Navigate your world
PowerReader provides a comprehensive suite of image navigation tools which allow you to easily navigate any study; no matter the modality. The tools on your right are included with every base installation (tools with *, not available in PowerServer XU).

Tools for all situations
Sometimes the standard tools available in PowerReader just aren’t enough. This is where we shine by providing every physician with the following specialized clinical tools:

MPR - The Multi Planar Reformatting tool reconstructs a series of images into a three-dimensional volume for easy visualization and navigation.

3D Pointer - This is an interactive tool designed to visualize and cross reference suspected pathology across multiple series.

Spine Labeling - This specialized labeling tool allows you label vertebrae and disks in all views, with just a few simple clicks.

Manipulate without worry
The full range of non-destructive adjustment tools included in PowerReader guarantees that what ever you need is always a single click away. And because we use DICOM presentation states, your images will always retain their original data even after heavy processing.

Just like you left it
Study book-marking makes switching between and revisiting studies a breeze. A book marked study will be saved exactly the way you left it; saving you time when switching been studies in critical situations.

Be dynamic
The dynamic zoom tool give you access to the commonly used pan, zoom, cine, window and level tools at the touch of a button. No more clicking on the toolbar; its all on the mouse.

Annotate away
Adding annotations comes naturally with PowerReader. Making notes and marking regions-of-interest is never more than a click away. As with our image processing, any changes that are made to your current image never change the original image data.

Patient at a glance
Have you ever had trouble finding a specific piece of patient information? You’re not alone. That is why we’ve taken the time to create a single-glance patient explorer. This explorer enables anyone to create/view/edit patient documents and demographics all from one neatly organized interface; reducing lost time due to misplaced information.
