Software Quality Analyst
RamSoft. Inc. is currently seeking an individual with a passion for software testing to join our QA department as a Software Quality Analyst. The selected candidate will work closely with other QA team members as well as interact with the development and customer service teams. As a multi-talented individual, you will assist the company in releasing high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct all levels of testing including regression, application, acceptance, load and stress testing
- Tracking and documentation of defects
- Creation and modification of technical procedure documents, user guides, and testing guidelines
- Assist in the management of the system test environment
- Installation and configuration of hardware
- Work closely with development and customer service to assist in resolving issues
Required Skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, 2003 Server)
- Familiar with relational databases
- Familiar with SQL queries
- Excellent problem solving and time management abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Desired Skills
- Previous testing experience
- Knowledge of web based applications and technologies
